How it all started:
2016
The first three SmartyKids mental arithmetic centres launched and marking profit as of first month of operation.
AUGUST 2016
Based on the feedback at the first three SmartyKids centres, the methodology and curriculum developed and tested, and a business development plan approved.
SEPTEMBER 2016
A team of 12 experts develops the methodology and prepares the successful business for expansion.
2017
First ever award for the SmartyKids methodology – recognized as the best methodological development in education of the XXI century. Total of 90 SmartyKids mental arithmetic centres have been already launched.
AUGUST 2017
SmartyKids is growing as a franchise network of child education centres.
SEPTEMBER 2017
SmartyKids enters the European Union, with its first centre launched in Bulgaria.
2018
Additional child education programs in development.
AUGUST 2018
Membership in the prestigious association for mental arithmetic SAMA Global.
SEPTEMBER 2018
More than 150 SmartyKids education centres operating around the globe.
2019
In the European Union, SmartyKids adds locations in Romania, Spain, Cyprus and Germany.
APRIL 2019
First SmartyKids Olympiad in mental arithmetic in the EU.
DECEMBER 2019
Training of SmartyKids teachers with the world-famous expert in mental arithmetic Mr. Kim Te Su in Bulgaria.
2020
Our methodology was successfully adapted to work in an online environment.
AUGUST 2020
Further growing number of SmartyKids centres opened – 60 in total in Bulgaria and 32 in Romania.
DECEMBER 2020
Our graduates from Bulgaria and Romania won 15+ medals from the international Olympiad held by the SAMA Global association.
2021
An online Olympiad was held in Bulgaria and Romania simultaneously.
SEPTEMBER 2021
SmartyKids centres were opened in 3 new countries – Serbia, North Macedonia and Belgium.
DECEMBER 2021
Our Romanian centres rapidly increased in number reaching 68 locations in 33 cities.
2022
We organized the first international Mental arithmetic Olympiad, held in Bulgaria, and 650 children from Bulgaria and Romania participated.
JULY 2022
First SmartyKids centres in Moldova opened its doors.
NOVEMBER 2022
Almost 70 SmartyKids children’s educational centres are already working on the territory of Bulgaria, 12 of them opened in 2022. SmartyKids Romania has expanded as well. 12 brand new centres have joined the network there in 2022.
DECEMBER 2022
Our graduates from Bulgaria and Romania won hundreds of medals from international mental arithmetic Olympiads world-wide.
2023
We hosted the second International Mental Arithmetic Olympiad in Bucharest, with 625 children from Bulgaria and Romania participating.
JULY 2023
SmartyKids Romania celebrates the opening of its 100th centre. SmartyKids is entering the Indian market by announcing the opening of its first centre there.
NOVEMBER 2023
In November, the first SmartyKids centre was launched in Croatia, organizing a special event for all parents in Zagreb – Open Doors! DECEMBER 2023 The network of SmartyKids Moldova has also expanded with the addition of 5 new centres in 2023. In Bulgaria, the total number of education centres reaches 78, 13 of which were inaugurated in 2023. By the end of the year, 45 new partners join the franchise network in Romania, bringing the total number of education centres there to 112.
2024
Executed two SmartyKids Olympiads for Menthal Arithmetic in Bulgaria and Romania with international participation.
October 2024
Opened our first SmartyKids center in Poland.
November 2024
Our methodologies got adaptation in English in order to reach larger audience.
