English Language Course for Children
The English language course at SmartyKids aims to build a strong foundation in the language for children, focusing on developing essential skills — listening, reading, speaking, and writing — through engaging and interactive activities.
English Language for Children – Levels A1 and A2
for children aged 7-12 years
The course aims to build children’s confidence, develop their communication skills, and stimulate their interest in the language while preparing them for more advanced stages of English learning.
Each level consists of 40 lessons. The lessons in Level A1 last 105 minutes and are held once a week. In Level A2, classes are held twice a week, each lasting 60 minutes. The learning set includes two textbooks and two workbooks offering a variety of colourful illustrations, intuitive instructions, and fun exercises.
Lessons are conducted in small groups, allowing individual attention to each child and more effective learning in a calm and supportive environment.
What will children learn in Level A1?
- Numbers from 1 to 100
- The alphabet and its correct pronunciation
- Listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills
- Days of the week and months of the year
- Basics of Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses
- Useful everyday words and phrases
What will children learn in Level A2?
Children further develop their communication skills in reading, listening, writing, and speaking, as well as the grammar needed to master English at the A2 level.
Our English course for children at Level A2 meets the requirements for the Oxford Test of English – A2 and Cambridge English Qualifications – A2 Flyers and A2 Movers certificate exams.

In the English language course for children at Level A2, students meet the requirements for the English proficiency exams Oxford Test of English – A2 and Cambridge English Qualifications – A2 Flyers and A2 Movers.

through regular exercises and repetition of new words and phrases, children strengthen their memory and consolidate what they have learned.
Communication skills
Through group discussions, interactive games, and engaging activities, children are encouraged to discuss the content of the texts they have read in English.
Passion for languages
through fun and engaging learning methods that make language learning easy and exciting for children.
Reading comprehension
in English through interactive exercises that help children interpret and analyze texts in English.

through fun games, story-making and visual tasks that encourage them to think creatively and express ideas.
CLASS FORMAT AND STRUCTURE
The course uses specially designed English A1 and A2 textbooks. The English language course for children is conducted in small groups of 8 to 10 children. The classes follow a game-based format, incorporating diverse activities aimed at stimulating both brain hemispheres (kinesiology). Children actively participate in engaging exercises during class, complemented by online portal activities to reinforce their learning.
Each lesson features 6–8 exercises, offering ample practice to master the material without feeling overwhelming.
